Introduction

The bakery Viljaherkut makes delicious traditional Karelian pies, lactose-free Karelian pies and potato pies made in a real syringe, without wheat flour. We mainly use domestic ingredients – for example, our rye flour comes from the Krann farm in Nurmijärvi. We also make gluten-free rice cakes. Our customers tell us that our pies bring back memories of their own childhood from their mother’s or grandmother’s pies. Genuine ingredients create a traditional and inimitable taste experience. We also make rye bread baked on sourdough (100% rye flour) and delicious island bread, which is suitable for many people because it is dairy-free. Island bread is also available gluten-free.
