Reijo Saaristo (Products sold out)
Introduction
Reijo has worked as a professional fisherman for 45 years, and this is his 49th time as a vendor at the Herring Market. He fishes herring in the Bothnian Sea off Merikarvia with herring nets during the autumn season, when the fish are more uniform in size and fattier. The raw materials for other products, such as the berries for the wild sea buckthorn juice, are also gathered from the outer archipelago of Merikarvia.
