The Baltic Herring Market will once again anchor in Helsinki this October. This year, the event expands into a comprehensive archipelago experience. In addition to the sales area, a new maritime restaurant area with licensed alcohol service will be built. The selection of products will grow beyond traditional herring staples to cover a wider range of other archipelago delicacies. Sales tents will be replaced by wooden huts, enhancing the coziness of the area.

THE SALES SLOT INCLUDES

A sales slot at the Market Square includes:

  • Sales hut
  • 3 shelves on the back wall of the hut
  • Electricity and connection (Single hut 2000W / Double hut 4000W; restaurant courtyard 16A power current)
  • Basic lighting on the hut ceiling
  • Security and surveillance
  • Sorted waste management
  • Access to a water point
  • Staff heated portable toilets with handwashing facilities
  • Nameplate, visibility on area maps and website (Finnish, Swedish, English)
  • Event marketing and communications
  • Event advisory and vendor info

Additionally for restaurant area operators only:

  • If needed, 1 roll container of storage space in a refrigerated container
  • Serving rights within the shared licensed area

Paid Additional Services:

  • Rain covers (for the side of the counter) 2 pcs: €150.00
  • Additional shelf for the back wall: €30.00
  • Extra electricity 3 x 16A power current: €120.00 (not for restaurant courtyard)
  • Extra electricity 3 x 32A power current: €350.00 (restaurant courtyard only)
  • Parking space without electricity for the duration of the event: €80.00 (Note: Limited availability, booked in order of registration)
  • Parking space for cold storage vehicle with 2000W electricity: €130.00 (Note: Limited availability, booked in order of registration)

Basic equipment for fishing boats and traditional sailing ships:

  • Electricity and connection (2000W)
  • Water connection (if pre-ordered)
